What is unique about an F1?

These letters and numbers seen before dog breeds are used to classify how this breed has been crossed. In the case of Louis and Ava, F1 means that a 100% purebred Standard Poodle has been bred with a 100% purebred English Cream Golden Retriever. The result is a Goldendoodle that is 50% Standard Poodle and 50% English Cream Golden Retriever. This will commonly mean that some of their puppies will have a straighter coat, some will have a wavy coat, and some will have a curlier coat. This provides the unique opportunity to select your desired coat style.

What is unique about a Santiam Doodles F1 Goldendoodle?

Santiam Doodles is proud to offer unique styles of Goldendoodle. Not only are our Goldendoodles bred from an English Cream Golden Retriever but our litters render pups that have a shorter, flat coat with no furnishings or a flat, shaggy coat with a full mustache, beard, and eyebrows!

Waiting List

  • Complete & Submit Puppy Waiting List Form at the bottom of this page.
  • The Waiting List is on a “first come, first serve” basis (such as the first name on the waiting list will be contacted first for the option to place a deposit on a puppy).
  • Once pregnancy is confirmed, you will be notified and a non-refundable deposit of $500 (Cash, Venmo, or PayPal) will be due to secure a puppy if you’re still interested. If you are no longer interested, you can simply pass and we’ll move down the waiting list. This process will be followed until all the puppies have commitments.
  • At 6 weeks of age you will be contacted (still following the first, come, first serve rule–the first to make a deposit will have the first choice of a puppy and so forth) and either an in-person meeting or video meeting will be arranged at which time you will have the opportunity to select the exact puppy you wish to take home at 8 weeks old.
    • 5-6 weeks of age provides the best opportunity for you to see personality, temperament, and the look that best suits you or your family.
  • Next, a day and time will be scheduled for you to pick up your new family member. Your pick up appointment will fall sometime directly after your puppy turns 8 weeks old.
  • Lastly, you’ll bring the remaining balance to Santiam Doodles and sign the contract when you pick up your puppy. We accept – Cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
  • Out-of-State Purchases
    • If you are not able to physically come and retrieve your puppy, we ship puppies within the United States. Contact us and we can make arrangements. Additional costs such as airline tickets for the puppy, crate for transportation, and health certificate clearance for the flight will apply. Santiam Doodles will quote additional costs individually.
